چکیده
Abiotic factors of the water environment are essential for life hydrobionts. They determined by two main criteria – intensity impact factor and tolerance each species. The work aims to substantiate adaptive capabilities this summer's koi carp (Cyprinus carpio koi) under influence low high temperatures, compare coefficients breathing rhythms research objects. Experimental was carried out in conditions aquarium-basin complex Department Ichthyology Zoology Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University. Two aquariums with a volume 800 dm3 were used experiment. Individuals approximately same size weight (25–30 g) divided into groups. first group fish kept at temperature 11–14 °C 30 days, second 24–29 days. During experiment, there 20 specimens aquarium. This summer koi). Feeding Alltech Coppens Pre Grower feed 15EF, 2.0 mm. Composition ingredients (%) per 1 g feed: raw protein 50; fats 15; fiber 0.80; ash 8.6; phosphorus 1.21. In experimental conditions, changes consumption O2, release CO2 NH3 (per live hour) temperatures °С studied. O2 these summers compared. change respiration (RR) ammonia (N/O) “warm” “cold” increasing analyzed. rhythm oxygen breath different environmental determined. Based on obtained data, reactions year's reduced increased indicators aquatic

Immune Response to Koi Herpesvirus (KHV) of Koi and Koi × Red Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio)
Koi herpesvirus (KHV), also known as Cyprinid herpes virus 3 (Cyprinid 3) is lethal disease in common carp and koi (Cyprinus carpio). Two different groups (KK and RK) were infected KHV by intraperitoneal injection. Fish for gene expression analysis were sampled at 0 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h and 72 h post infection (p.i). The results showed that two immune related gene, Interferons (INFs) ɑβ and Inte...
متن کاملDetection of Koi Herpesvirus in Koi Cyprinus carpio in Taiwan
Mass mortality occurred in 2-year-old koi (fancy carp)Cyprinus carpio in Taiwan in 2002. Affected fish did not show any external signs except swollen gills. The consistent histological changes were observed in the gills; hyperplasia of epithelial cells, infiltration of eosinophilic granular cells and fusion of the secondary lamellae. Nega tively stained nucleocapsids were icosahedral and 112±1 ...
متن کاملRisk factors for development of internal neoplasms in koi carp Cyprinus carpio koi.
Fish, like mammals, can be affected by neoplastic proliferations. As yet, there are only a very small number of studies reporting on the occurrence of tumours in koi carp Cyprinus carpio koi and only sporadic reports on the nature of the tumours or on risk factors associated with their development. Between 2008 and 2012, koi with abdominal swelling were examined pathologically: neoplastic lesio...
متن کاملRoutine turning maneuvers of koi carp Cyprinus carpio koi: effects of turning rate on kinematics and hydrodynamics.
Spontaneous swimming behaviors of koi carp Cyprinus carpio koi were recorded using a video tracking system. Routine single-beat turns were selected from the recorded image sequences for kinematic and hydrodynamic analysis. As with C-starts, the turns can be divided into two stages (stage 1 and stage 2), based on kinematics. Stage 1 involves a bend to one side forming a C-shaped curve in the bod...
متن کاملKinematics, hydrodynamics and energetic advantages of burst-and-coast swimming of koi carps (Cyprinus carpio koi).
Koi carps frequently swim in burst-and-coast style, which consists of a burst phase and a coast phase. We quantify the swimming kinematics and the flow patterns generated by the carps in burst-and-coast swimming. In the burst phase, the carps burst in two modes: in the first, the tail beats for at least one cycle (multiple tail-beat mode); in the second, the tail beats for only a half-cycle (ha...
